Bird Nest Watercolor Painting - Blue Robin Eggs Nature Art Print
"New Beginnings" is a giclee reproduction of an original watercolour painting on Yupo by professional artist Brazen Edwards, using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival ink printed on Somerset Velvet, which has the look and feel of watercolour paper.
I was inspired by a nest of Robin's eggs, that was hatching outside of a fellow Oh Canada Team member's window. She looked forward to the babies hatching and documented their development and shared it with me!
Robins have powerful significance they are typically seen as the bird of Spring and are linked with the divine sacrifice and the rebirth of the spirit. They are symbolic of the sun, new beginnings, joy, hope and clarity. The robin lays eggs several times a year, laying about 3-5 eggs each time but not all eggs will develop into baby robins. When the mother sees that there is an empty egg she tosses it out of her nest so that the rest can thrive.
