Still Life Watercolour Painting - Banana Bunch - Still Life Fruit Food Art Print
"Almost Ripe" is a giclee reproduction of an original watercolour painting on Yupo by professional artist Brazen Edwards, using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival ink printed on Somerset Velvet, which has the look and feel of watercolour paper.
This piece is part of my series of peaceful still life paintings of various fruit.
"Because the objects of a still life are ordinary -- a sausage, a melon, a bowl, a boot -- their translation into paint intensifies them. They are dignified by the metamorphosis we call art." - Siri Hustvedt - "Mysteries of the Rectangle"
Displaying produce is considered extremely auspicious in Feng Shui, they bring prosperity to the family and symbolizes great success in the near future. You can display images of fruit anywhere in your living room, but they are most auspicious in the kitchen or dining room.
